Since
1906 La Parisienne is situated in the Piazzetta. It's a multibrand Boutique
that proposes a colouful summer fashion. Here you have the choice of manually
printed clothing by Livio de Simone coordinated with bags and shoes as well
as cashmere pullovers by Aida Barni. But it's the Etiquette "Adrian's Capri"
luxury Pret-A-Porter since 1969 that is the Boutique's pride. With everything
entirely produced on the island she represents the renewed continuation
of the handicraft tradition that has rendered Capri world-famous. Such as
for example the Fishermen Pants, also known as "Capri-Pants", which Audrey
Hepburn loved to wear in the 60's, are still produced of the same burlap.
The popular white trousers, ordered in dozens by Jaqueline Onassis and the
Pyjamas prefered by Maria Jose` of Savoia as well as the coloured Bermuda
pants of Clark Gable have formed the world-famous reputation of this Boutique
In the "Via Camerelle" La Parisienne presents accessories and bags of Fendi.
The most known among them are certainly the "Baguette" bags, which became
soon a collector's item. In the "Via Vittorio Emanuele" we will find the
extraordinary designs of Roberto Cavalli. |
